The Fort Wayne/Allen County Convention & Visitors Bureau teamed with the Fort Wayne-Allen County Economic Development Alliance and community partners to research and introduce a new community brand. After a year of research, the brand strategy was revealed at a conference to community leaders and the press. Fort Wayne’s new brand strategy is wonderful because it is applicable for many different uses; like relocation, economic development, tourism and city pride.

 The purpose of the brand is to provide a unified message for marketing entities in the community to use, creating greater penetration of the destination of Fort Wayne in the regional marketplace. It is free to be adopted by private and public organizations in Fort Wayne that will use it for the purpose of marketing Fort Wayne as a destination.

 Room for Dreams describes both the current perception of Fort Wayne and at the same time describes the future of Fort Wayne that citizens envision. There are four main points the brand strategy hits on, the independent spirit of Fort Wayne, the abundance of opportunities that exist here, our strong value of families and the exceptional spaces that Fort Wayne offers like the Grand Wayne Convention Center, Allen County Memorial Coliseum, Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and the historic Embassy Theater.

 Look for the brand to be advertised in tri-state regional magazine publications, as well as, local publications. A local group of brand supporters, called the Brand Band is currently working to promote the brand in the community.
